As said on your other thread Paul.....very cool indeed!!!
I am loving the diversity of colour schemes this Challenge Build is generating.
The Airliner Category table next year will be a visual feast.

I'm throwing in!!!! I won't make the Expo. Australia, right? I'm in the US and quite "poor" so I'll just be building and not attending. Either way, I can build with yous guys and have fun the same.

I have too many builds on the bench right now and am working on two airliners already but once I get one airliner and one small 1/72 scale build done I'll start on a 737-200. Good news is I have everything I need already so it's just a matter of time.

The first one I'll attempt is this aircraft:

Second attempt if first is succesful:

They're both very neat, I don't know which I like more!

Wishful Thinking, this Pace Airlines bird:

This would be neat because it could be done with just masking tape. Pain in the butt, I know, but solves the problem of having to source transfers.

All nice schemes Brad. Is the Air Cal scheme a Microscale sheet? I expect there would be a lot of masking with that one as well?

Yes ,Microscale. They made them on a sheet along w/ Aloha in both 1/144 & 1/200. The Air Cal comes with the black border lines for the yellow but indeed that will have to be masked and it's going to be tricky from the looks of it..... also will have to mask for the black and the where the white hits the polished nmf. Frankly, I'll be amazed if I even get it done in time, even though the expo is nearly a year off.

I'll have to have one of yas take some pictures with you or get really crazy and mail my builds down there.

Wicked schemes Brad. Beyond my skills but they do look cool. I love the retro schemes. But I really should stop looking at colour schemes and decals cos I don't have enough 737's in the stash

LOL!!!!

I know what you mean!!! I bought the decals, in both instances, before I bought the kits. Looking at airliner photos is what started it all.

And yeah, I'm sorta with you on these.... I may have bitten off more than I can chew. Especially the Air California. While the decals come with the black lines, they're all STRAIGHT. So, they are to be applied and curved whilst doing so sort of like applying 1mm wide pin stripping tape...... oh boy...
