Are you sure that is the kit or just a decal?

EDIT :

Wasn't this was it?

Ah f#€£!

It's a terrible sinking feeling when your suspicions of a fantastic deal are proven to be too good to be true ...

This boxing has both engines
Wouldn't go crazy on the price though, bidding gets frantic in the last 5 minutes, ask Ansett A330

As an alternative you can always use an A340, just need 2 GE Engines for it, either from an A330 kit or resin ones, the plastic is basically the same.

Me? Go crazy? No remember I usually get the ones that I "mark" and then no other bugger bids on them!

Ahh, he doesn't have a kit, he has bought a decal!

The A340 idea is a good one, they may be easier to find. I can't believe the prices on eBay at the moment for A330 and A340 kits.

Yeah some of these prices :

are way up there and strangely enough a lot of them are Buy it Now so not even a Bidding war to push them up?

Some of the prices, as high as they are, I can live with, but those shipping prices are complete bullshit. How has it gotten to a point that shipping a light weight, smallish box can cost upwards of $60? Have we gone back to sending product via sailing ships or something?

Kit and tail replacement secured.

Oh and I dropped into The Hobbyman tonight to pick up some paint, and walked out with these two.

The 747-400 will be a Qantas 747-400ER, and the 737 will be a wedge tail using the hawkeye conversion kit.

The 747 and 737 are on my wish list. Nice work Troy but I don't see a 737-200 in there ;) ;) ;)

Nice catch Troy,

When do you plan to build the Wedgetail?

The reason I ask is that Zvezda has announced a 737-700 which would be perfect for a Wedgetail conversion, no fuselage cutting. I believe it will be released next year.

Hi Paul, I haven't seen a 737-200 yet, otherwise I may have bought one.

G'day Ray, Would you believe that just this morning I had to cancel the order for the A330 due to the clear parts being missing as I suspected. Peter was kind enough to offer me a full refund. So I am once again on the hunt. That's interesting about the 737-700. I have more than enough in the build pile to keep me busy for a while, so if the 700 comes out before I get to the wedgetail, that sounds like a plan. You haven't heard of any plans for them to do the A330 have you? ;)
