I used to leave windows clear or fill the holes with pva glue, but after a while of doing that for something like an A.380 you get mighty sick of doing it and one missed window with glue all over your pain work tends to spoil your day. Besides, some kits don't have holes for the windows and other have them in the wrong place for the version you're making. Using decals is easier and they look better too - trust me.

I'm tempted, but I've already made a -100 and a -200. Do they count? Where would one get the kit anyhow?

Got nothing done on this yesterday so I thought I'd better have a crack today. After all the Mr Surfacer was sanded off everything was pretty good though no doubt once I spray the primer i'll find stuff to fix up. As you can see, I got the wings and tail glued on without too much fuss. Just the usual filling and yet more sanding. I also got the engines together and all panel lines sanded off those as well. So tomorrow I'll sand what putty needs to come off, glue on and fill the engines, fill the aft L/H door and might even get a coat of primer on, ya never know. This might even get to the stage of waiting for decals if I pull my finger out 8-) 8-) 8-)

Here's one I started many years ago, with the help of my oldest daughter. She's kind of lost interest now, so it's up to me..
Unfortunately, she didn't want to put any nose-weight into it, nor did she want to use the kit windows, so I have to figure things out. I started filling the windows with strip styrene....given it's all going to be sanded once done, it's not too big a deal. Just tedious...
I also gave the Air NZ decals away, so thanks to Paul, I've got some replacements as soon as we can meet up.

Pretending to do it TAC style with the big boys since 1987
Also, we don't need no steenkin' VLATs!
