Are you all ready for Swap and Smell?

What's everyone hunting for? Have you stopped bathing to make sure you are at peak smell for the crush? I might bring a gas mask this year.

Won't be going to the S&S, will be there later in the day to pick up models.

Had my fair share of waiting in the line and watching line hoppers and then those exotic odours of the selling room.

To get me in there, I'd need a 12-gauge autoloader, Uzi 9mm and a Phase Plasma Rifle with a 40W range! I won't be back!

The smell is just the penance you pay for saving a few bucks.

I love swap and sells, I use to be a bit of an old kit snob, but these days I find myself pulling out that old 60's kit and building it. I'm on the lookout for some more of the old Testors golden era racing aircraft after building this Mystery Ship, I've got the S6B in the stash plus a couple of 1/32 GeeBee's and a Laird Turner Racer. Also hunting Airfix trains.

Wedgie and I will have a table there. I've still a few duplicates and things I've fallen out of love with to sell and he has a few things of interest too. Being on the other side of the table insulates one from some of the pressures and smells of being in the crush. It's also an opportunity to say hello to folks we haven't seen since last year. On the wants side, I think I wouldn't mind a couple more Minicraft DC-8 kits, but I don't expect to see any there. Most modellers have no taste when it comes to airliners.

As Leigh mentioned. I have put two new cartridges into my spray mask plus I'm on the other side of the table so I should be right.
I have a bit of armour and a few aircraft to shift and I'm hoping to flog my 1/16 Trumpeter T34-76 as I've been going through a long lost my mojo period.

Wayne.
