A place for our military aviation modellers to show their stuff. It may not be civil but it still has a home here

Next model finished...revell 1/72 P51b..highplanes resin dropped flaps and spares box markings representing a US based aircraft from a training squadron..it should have the unit badge on the tail but i was unable to find a decal...the plane it represents crashed in Florida on a training flight killing its pilot Dean R Gilmore..the wreck was recovered in the 1990s and it has been restored as "old crow" by Jack Roush, the niece of FLT Gilmore contacted a few of the online warbird pages trying to contact Jack Roush to see if the history of the plane could be honored..whilst the scheme is of old crow the display board does acknowledge the planes history including FLT Dean Glimore,so i had decided to built it if i had the chance.
