I have picked back up on this also. I am changing livery to the
original American Airlines Astrojet with orange stripes from the
early 60s. I have the corruguard and silver done. I used Tamiya rattle can
Silverleaf. I also am going wheels up. Here it is painted up with engines
sitting on, not glueing them until after decalling.---John

I just got the Vintage Flyer decals in the mail. I tested a couple out to
see how they act, seem to go on nice, thin.---John

That is starting to look very nice. I'm very partial to those American Airlines polished metal schemes.

The windows, lightning bolt and ship numbers applied, ship number is 1983.
The engines are now glued on, all that's left is the AA name on the fuselage
and doors.---John

Looks great John. The old lightning bolt scheme is very 'striking' :D on BMF

Nice to have your back John, 727 looks nice. I'd like to get my hands on a couple of 727-100s for a couple of projects.
