Douglas DC-4s

Postby F-27pax » Sun Nov 05, 2017 8:45 am

Here's a couple of DC-4s for a change. Both Minicraft kits and both with Hawkeye decals. I had a couple of DC-4s in my Treasure and decided to make both showing the historic range of the use of this airliner in Australia.

First the ANA airliner that made the first scheduled service flight between Australia and North American in 1946.

And then on to the pair of DC-4s that Qantas operated on the route to Norfolk Island in the 1970s.

Enough of this foolishness, no to one of two DC-6s next time
