Here's a photo or two of the completed AN 747-300. There are two of them, one I just completed using automotive lacquer and the earlier one (about ten years old) using enamel - you can tell the difference. The older one was a Chinese kit made by Kepuyuan which is best avoided at all costs. Thrown in as a bonus photo is the Roden Carvair with Hawkeye decals.

You can tell the difference.. I have to admit, Tamiya pure white has always worked well but I'm now keen to give your suggestion a go.. Nice Carvair too!!
