I was fairly well behaved. Instead of the usual 10+ kits of previous years, I limited myself to 5.
Pyro Laird-Turner racer......which turned out to actually be the Lindberg GeeBee. Shoulda checked the box first, I reckon..
2 x LS 1/72 Pitts Specials
Zvezda 1/144 747-8
Pro-modeller 1/48 A26-B
On the other hand, I also picked up a resin casting kit, some SMS metallic paints, and some E-Z Line.
Pretending to do it TAC style with the big boys since 1987
Also, we don't need no steenkin' VLATs!

Not sure how it happened, and I did think about returning it, but I doubt I would have gotten far..
The Williams Brothers kit is light years ahead of the Lindberg kit..

Not a overly recent kit but didn't have one of these as had so many Revell 767s that I didn't know what to do with I was never tempted to get one even though it's so much better than the Revell kit.

Now however I have two thanks to a "heads up" from Graeme (and the Lady at the Shop itself) that the local Toyworld in Townsville was having a Sale. First Purchase under $100 was 50% off, Second Purchase under $100 was 40% off etc. Resistance was useless as someone on TV used to say ...

(Pity they didn't have any 777s or 748s ...)

yup it was....maybe paid to much for it but it's a relatively new hasegawa kit so not to bad a price...but the big KI61 made for for it.

The price is why I put it back, I didn't need it that bad.
