A300-600

Postby Graeme H » Mon Oct 31, 2016 10:43 am

I see F=Rsin is doing an A300-600

This is the Compass Airlines type

F-RSIN Plastic will be introducing an injected plastic A300-600 at Telford. The kit consists of Revell Beluga sprues and a specific A300-600 sprue. Decals include American (silk), Thai (old) (silk), Lufthansa (silk), Tunisair (laser) Iran Air (laser) and Monarch (old) (laser).

Price = €36 or £32

As I have a few Belugas, I must ask Laurent if I can just get the parts for the conversion with out the Beluga and Decals

Ditto. Great idea if it's cheap enough as I'm pretty sure our Belugas were reasonably priced at the time.

Then again one needs at least one spare Beluga to do this one :

On that announcement, did you also see that Mach 2's next release in 1/72 will be an Avro York

Yes Ray, I did, only 2 things for me

1. It's Mach 2
2. It's an Avro York, not much interest for me

I think a lot of people would have stopped at Point 1.

Well, I have the Mach 2 Argosy, Viscount, Falcon 20, Squirrel and others and while it is Mach 2, it is buildable. I am not phased by it. I would rather pick up the Mach 2 kit than the expensive resin kit from CMR?

It looks OK for Mach 2, will need some clean up though....

And I just noticed that MickroMir is also releasing a York, seems like a Northern Spring release

I wouldn't mind a York. Maybe I'll build my Mach 2 DC-4 firebomber first and see how I go :)
