If this is too hard, how about Col. Rob Olds F-4C from Operation Bolo? That was a pretty major historical event over Nth Vietnam.

There is that one too

Pretty sure I have a Sageburner conversion in the stash somewhere along with the old Tasman decals for it.

I think this is a really good idea I happen to have the decals and the Zvezda A321 to make EI-ETJ would this make a good entry

OK then gents, it appears that we have some interest in a GB.... so we now need to decide what the subject and parameters are of this GB are going to be. There have been several different GB subject suggestions made (including some really good ideas from Brad), so I guess its time for a vote. I would now ask that you go through the suggestions then place your preference on this thread, then we will go from there. For those that have participated in GBs on other model sites, I would be open to suggestions on how best to administer and run this GB.

So in preparation for a possible:
History Makers: Individual Aircraft Involved In Significant Historical Events Group Build
I was wondering if anyone had a spare set of these in their decal spares box???

Absolutely Lee.....for those who may not be aware, this is the significance of EI-ETJ.

Just a WAG, but would that be the Airbus that crashed after doing a low pass?
Pretending to do it TAC style with the big boys since 1987
Also, we don't need no steenkin' VLATs!

Nup.....I think you are talking about the infamous A320 "hedge clipper"

A most significant event in it's own right, but not the subject I have chosen on this occasion.

I'll have a look but given the age will probably be in the same or worse condition than those photographed.

The first A300B2 in commercial service? What about shortening it a bit (5 frames) and building an A300B1 the first aircraft that Airbus built that they unfortunately scrapped?
