A place for our military aviation modellers to show their stuff. It may not be civil but it still has a home here

Perhaps it's a morph of Jen Hawkins upper and Helen Clark lower? Did I just type that? OK - I'm off to whip myself with a wet tea bag! Betcha 99.9% of the critics disappear once the F-35 arrives here. The few remaining diehards will never go away, just like the "Save Albert Park" mob. Still, as this program will most likely outlast us all, it's a long time to be pissed off with something that they have no true idea about.

That last sentence really cracked me up man    I bow to your infinite wisdom. Actually just kidding. No I don't really :o Count me in as proud a .1%er then 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

You boys play nice and don't make me come back there :D

Disappointed - nah, it's more a hindrance these days. Breeding days are over and it just kinda drags along in the dirt behind me these days!

Well Adam, that's your fancy dress costume done and dusted for your next big party night.
Just throw it over your shoulder and go as a petrol pump.

I'll grab my coat and hat on the way out.

Hey, stop derailing my thread.

I'm a fan and look forward to the day this aircraft has its chance to prove itself.

Ray, you think the Concorde was beautiful? Glorified lawn dart.

Pooh it few from the UK to the US, BFW. The route it could have been useful on was flying to Oz, but nooooooo. What a waste.

Absolutely the Concorde was beautiful, indeed she was the perfect combination of form and function.
It will be a looooong time before anything quiet so graceful, streamline, and elegant will grace the skies again.

We know the F-35 is doing amazing stuff in exercises - mind blowing really. Won't be long before they're sent o/s on deployments to Japan and the Baltic - next year has been mentioned for both USAF and USMC deployments.
