1/144 Revell ERJ-195 converted to ERJ-190

I now have both sides of the passenger windows filled and sanded 3 times.There are still
a few flaws to fill again. I also have the joint seams and seams along the top and nose area
filled and sanded. This is definitely a Putty Queen, the most I have ever puttied and sanded in
53 years of modeling. ---John

Does anyone know what the color of the gear legs and wells are for Jetblue 190s? All
I can find are shadowy pictures that look like either very light gray legs or shadowy
white ones. Quite confusing.---John

What do the instructions recommend? I would think they are all the same?

EDIT: I just looked at the instructions online and they suggest white for the gear legs and sand for the wells.

Looking at pictures you are right about the legs, they look a dirty white or light grey.

The inside of the nose gear doors look the same colour as the nose gear strut.

There are no instructions for Jetblue 190s, I know of. That Air Dolomiti
is "suggestions" as far as I am concerned. I have seen pictures where the Jetblue
looks like white gear legs and white well on nose and white gear legs and gray
wells on mains. VERY confusing looking at shadowy pictures!---John

I was referring to the kit instructions John, I would expect that all ERJ 190s come out of the factory with same colours for gear legs and wheel wells. The kit instructions would approximate factory colours for thing like this.

Thanks Scott. I didn't think those colors that ROG called out were even close, but it looks
like they are really a "sand" color! Yuck! I am going to search some more but I guess they
are what they are.You would think light gray or white to show up leaks.---John

OK I'll bite - what is the wheel well "seal" made out of?

And secondly for the detail fanatics how would you represent it in 1:144?

This particular "seal" is a long strip of bristled brush attached around the wheel arch - much like you see on some buses and trucks (except the purpose on heavy vehicles is to reduce water spray off the tyres)

OK thanks for that it's pretty much what I thought it was. (I won't make any inferences of the Wheel Wells needing a "Brazilian"!)

So what do you reckon the super detailers would represent it by? Just "rough" black paint trim?
