1/72 DH88 Comet "Black Magic"

Postby hrtpaul » Tue Apr 15, 2014 2:53 pm

Here I go again. This is purely to get Adam off my back  This is the Airfix 1/72 DH88 Comet as Black Magic. The kit is more bog than plastic and must be from Airfix's line of limited run kits or so it seems    It took a while to do this thing due to all the sanding required. It came out ok and is definitely a 6 footer. I have a few more of these to do including Bulldog from the Planes movie. That one is waiting for Damo to figure out the decals hint hint 8-) Ok here's the pics

Yeah, yeah, Paul...as soon as I figure out how to make the colours change once they hit water....just for you ;)
Pretending to do it TAC style with the big boys since 1987

Good work Paul, salty had all sorts of prep issues with this kit.. I thought he was going to feed it to the dogs..
It's hard for me to get used to these changing times... I remember when the air was clean and the sex was dirty..

I don't blame him. I might limit myself to 1 of these per year otherwise I'd give the hobby away I reckon
