Ray'S B767-338 Australian Airlines

My second build for the BrittModeller GB is...

Image

This will be an OOB build from a kit liberated from Graeme H's stash along with some decals from Draw Decal. Not sure on which rego, Australian operated a number of B763s for a short time.

No as much excitement with this build as the B737, fuselage seams are also sorted

As well as the sink marks in the wings.

One of my all-time favourite schemes!!!
Rumour is that, as part of the on-going "retro roo" programme, this scheme may once again grace a Qantas jet.
I will be watching this one with much interest Ray.
As to a rego, may I suggest VH-OGV......one of the best jets in the QF/AO 767-338ER fleet. She was always a pleasure to crew.

I shall consider that Ray,

On the sheet is a decal for the 2005 World Expo in Japan which I wanted to include on the model

So far I can't find too many pictures of the aircraft wearing the log, only OGJ and K at this stage.

Edit: Found a single image of OGV with the logo :D

Gear assembled, may chicken out on adding detail as I don't have any wire thin enough.

Wings and fuselage primed and more seams found to fix.

What is the tongue depressor for in the fuselage? Is it just there temporarily or will you use it?

Its a good old paddle pop stick Troy, gives me something to hold and rest the model on during and after paint.
