Thud in the sun.

A place for our military aviation modellers to show their stuff. It may not be civil but it still has a home here

Very nice, that Scooter is a work of art Uncle Les, the Thud ain't too bad either but that Mig scheme on the A4 is the best I've seen.

Thanks Wayne :D ! Here's another couple of views that show the MiG illusion even better.

at this point I'll mention there was also a scale model GAF product in attendance at the home of GAF products but as I neglected to apply RBF paraphernalia I ask that Ray momentarily looks away...

Well Uncle, you tricked me. I glanced at the Thud photos and thought they were of the real thing. I looked again and I'm still convinced that you're cheating on this one and sneaking us some photos of a real Thud. That's a compliment.

Uncle, those Thunderbolts made me swoon and go weak in the legs, magnificent models all of them. I'm a sucker for radials, F4U's are another piece of art.
I have a soft spot for the 57th FG in the Italian Theatre and have finished the bubble top and need to find my mojo for another 2 razorbacks and more bubble tops, all 1/32.
That 56th FG category E two seater is something I've not seen modelled before, well done.

I'll just sit here for a little longer and drool all over my keyboard.

Cheers

Thanks guys.. yeah those big bolts are just Revell old school dolled up a bit - not favoured by the larger scale illuminati but in my book, a model's a model and we're modellers !!
