Last time I was at Duxford year and a half ago, the F-15 was in the shop and stripped back to bare metal - showing its chromate finish. It looked pretty cool. It is amazing to think that this aircraft first flew when I was knee high to a grasshopper. What I can't get my head around is seeing a B-52H at Avalon accepted into the USAF in 1961 and will most likely be flying another 35-40 years! That is utterly mind blowing that one aircraft could be older and potentially outlast me!
