RVHP kits

Postby tor lives » Wed Mar 30, 2016 8:46 pm

Hi guys,
Today my RVHP 1:72 REX Metro 23 kit arrived. I couldn't wait to open and inspect it and when I did, initially, everything looked great, RVHP do produce a nice resin kit. On further inspection however I discovered that there was no tail fin included in the kit  . Now I have a few RVHP kits in the stash including some King Airs and an Embraer ERJ-145 or two (thanks Tony :D ), and I have never had a case of missing parts before. Has anyone else ever experienced this with an RVHP kit???. I have emailed the Aviation Megastore from whom I purchased the kit, (which was pretty $$$), to see if they can arrange a replacement tail fin from RVHP. So lets see how this goes.

I've never had missing parts from a RVHP kit, but I have had a warped wing. Until I broke it trying to straighten it, now I have a broken warped wing.

I have contacted RVHP directly and this is their impressive response:

Hello,
We are very sorry for the problem you have experienced with our product, and for which we the producer is to be blamed.
We will source the missing parts and will send them to you free - please, let us know your address.
Thank you for your interest in RVHP kits.
Kind regards

Given this response I can only but highly recommend RVHP as a kit supplier.
You can purchase kits directly from their site.

Love a manufacturer that stands by their product :D
