Ah Yes! Of course, Though I think I need to find an Electra tail for that one unless it becomes a What If. Something to ponder me thinks.

I have just put an Electra arse-end on mine, (boy....wasn't that a fun job ). This particular aircraft is unique in that it is effectively an Electra/Orion hybrid. It was in fact the Orion prototype. Although a P-3A in many respects, it has the Electra arse-end, Electra wings, and Electra cockpit glazing arrangement.
Ray....if you need and Electra arse-end, I think I know where I might be able to get one for you.

Thanks Ray. I will decide what I am doing with this one and let you know. I will be a way for a week (in Mornington as a matter of fact) so I won't have a chance to research it.

Right! now after several days applying decals then antennas undercarriage and doors (shit I hate doing that stuff..heart in mouth all the while!). She is at last able to stand on her own 3 legs... had to take a picture, then a few more touch ups and repairs. I am still waiting for a replacement windscreen which is holding things up a little.
This beastie has been very challenging I must say.. though that is due to my ineptness as much as anything else.

No cigar yet and the fat lady has not sung! I await a replacement windscreen, the only thing needed to put this one to bed

Finally got to finish this with the replacement windscreen coming from Hasegawa in today's post. Another one struck off the bucket list, worked with this aircraft a few times during my career.
