Great work Leigh!!!
And these two would certainly look good in next year's Model Expo A/CAM Ansett Anniversary Tribute display :D

Stunning work there on what I think is one of the most stunning airliners!

Bravo!

Thanks for all the comments folks. I'm afraid that they look better in the photos than they do in real life. That may be because I can still see all those little mistakes that I will forget about in time.

There's another three AN 727s to go yet. I particularly like the Ansett Airlines of Australia livery which is one of those I will tackle next.

I'm quite happy for them to be shown on next year's Expo display but I'm not quite sure how the logistics for that might work. I also have the VLE 1/72 kit for Reg Ansett's Fokker Universal but it looks like it will be a real bugger to make.

It's been some time since my last posting here. I've been busy doing stuff, that's all I'm saying. But finally, here are some more additions to my 727 project, four more 727-200s. All Airfix kits and all with Hawkeye decals.

My good gracious sir, you have been a tad busy! Very fine work on what I think is one of the most beautiful jet airliners. I remember hearing from a ex-instructor who was flying 727 freighters that it's great and fun to fly too!

Cheers

Very nice Leigh. How do you get the decal stripes so nicely around the engine nacelle pylons?

Nice looking models you have there. I have built some of those liveries also in 1/200 and 1/144 so maybe I should post them to show you what I have done.
