Seems ironic that every country ISIS pisses off lately is nuclear armed.......be it on their heads then when their glorious Islamic State is nothing more than a smouldering radio active hole in the ground . Keep it up you ISIS dickheads and you will be meeting ya 72 virgins a lot quicker than you anticipated.....courtesy of the Russians, French, Israelies, and Chinese. Very interesting move Russia going into Syria .Now Russia is dictating terms to the UK. France appears to be moving their carrier into the eastern Med. Lots of airpower can come into play - issue will be now though what to hit and who will hit it? There I fear will be an absolute excess of airpower in the region. Time for a mass airdrop of airbourne forces I reckon. Go in and occupy entire regions -surround the bad guys and eliminate them. My question to western leaders - why the f--k do with have such outstanding and highly trained armed forces if our respective leaders are not prepared to use them? Hundreds of thousands killed, millions displaced - what more reasons are needed to unleash the dogs of war against ISIS? The "tools" are there - how about some political spine to go with this!

Airpower alone will not sort this out. Boots on the ground and occupying territory (softened up by JDAM's, LGB's, etc) must factor into eliminating ISIS.

Israel will mainly be concerned with what Iran is doing in all of this. Generally speaking, the fact that muslims are killing muslims isn't worrying them too much I don't think. Fingers crossed a ceasefire can be organised in Syria, followed by peacekeepers. Then whatever "coalition" can be organised can wipe out ISIS for good. Step right up ISIS - 72 virgins eagerly awaiting to please all your scumbag members! Step right up - delivery to paradise c/o JDAM!
