Dodge Challenger & Charger for Australia?

Looking more possible it seems - perhaps after 2018?

Now for you GM fans, does this add more weight for GM to develop and bring the Camaro to Australia? Surely GM must bring the Camaro here!

Sad loosing the local industry but lookin' real fine for those who like muscle cars like this little black duck! Hmm, the Mustang GT or a Challenger? With secondary school fees kicking in next year, it is indeed wishful thinking on my behalf! :D

As long as it's badged as a Holden Monaro tor.

Hi Ross.
Unfortunately I don't think that would fly.
When GM took the Monaro to the USA and re-badged it as the Pontiac GTO it just didn't cut it. The Pontiac GTO was an iconic and much-loved American muscle car steeped in history and tradition, and putting that revered badge on a "foreign import", (as good as it was), was criticised and resented, (and this backlash was reflected in sales). Doing the reverse of bringing the Camaro to Australia and calling It a Monaro would, I suspect, have the same outcome. As a former Holden Monaro CV8R owner myself, I sure wouldn't want the Monaro badge misused like this.....besides the Camaro badge is iconic in its own right, (quiet frankly, I would prefer it if GM didn't even put a Holden badge on it, and left it as a Chev).
