1:144th SSTs TU-144 & B2707

Postby tor lives » Sat Oct 10, 2015 11:16 am

Hey guys,
Well.....in keeping with the current SST theme, I have just broken-out the ICM 1:144th TU-144 from the stash. Has anyone built this kit and, if so, what was your experiences with it. I have just ordered the Nasca Decals NASA/Boeing test scheme for her, (I shouldn't go to these dam decal sites cause I end-up spontaneously buying much more then I intend :? ).
Does anyone know of a Boeing 2707 SST in 1:144th????, (I am aware of the Revell version in 1:200).

Be very cool if you finish this in time for Expo as it will be if I finish my 1/32 NASA F-104N. Anyone else building anything NASA related?

I want to built something decent for this coming years "Civvie" category, after failing last year  . So, I will have the 1/48 DOSAAF Yak-52 and hopefully the F-104N. The 104 hits the bench once the 262 is done. I'd really love to build a "Apollo" era NASA T-38 one day as well.

Whilst cleaning up the stash I came across a 1/72 Hasegawa F104 with NASA markings good chance it will get to the front after I finish my 4 Mirages
Not got any idea if I will get to Expo, but if our TSV MEL courier service is still operating then a possibility

That's great Graeme! Looks like there's a Concorde mini-group build, a possible A-10 mini-group build and now a possible NASA mini-group build!

Yes, a 1/144 Doeing 2707 would round out the SST collection, I know it never got beyond the mock up stage and I'm no fan of 'what it', but I 'd be willing to make an exception. I've never heard of a 2707 144 kit, does anyone know of any possibilities. 1/144 plane even?
