A place for our military aviation modellers to show their stuff. It may not be civil but it still has a home here

somewhere over the Indian ocean

my latest two finished

an odd combat pair...a little lopsided but maybe with better piloting skill the lesser plane might just do the job 8-)

an inonesian N1K1 Rex and a RAN curtiss SC-1 seahawk

the seahawk in an old exotic 1/72 kit,it goes together pretty well considering it's age.

the rex is a resin kit by Asuka,i'd never heard of them before.it's very basic...the fuse wing and tail are one piece :o ...the front float struts are white metal as are the prop blades.

i'm pretty happy with the way they came out.

Very cool Paul - nice work!

There is something so cool about these seaplanes - perhaps it's having that large single centre float. Anyway, they look great!

Cheers
