Yep, that sort of stance is perfect I reckon Eric. Now how you achieve this is going to be quite a challenge sir! 1.2m!!!! I thought my 105 was long at a little over 0.6m!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this build it EPIC!

You need to lay off the suction.
It's a little embarrassing for a grown man.

Good luck Eric.
Great choice of kit.
I know you'll do a good job.

Salty, it would only be embarrassing (to me) if indeed I was a "grown man". Alas I am a middle-aged man-child a.k.a Scale plastic aircraft modeller! Should you sir take on a similar modelling challenge, I will pour out a similar embarrassing amount of "suction"! :D

Just layin' out credit where credit is due. Eric pumps out 1/32 gems like machine gun bullets. My last large jet (F-105D) took over 18 months and I did not want to look at another model for 12 months after that! My 262 currently being built I've been tinkering with for over three years now. I've no idea where Eric gets the drive, focus plus kick ass skills to pump out these beauties so rapidly, but inspire me he does! My cunning plan that cannot fail is to swell Eric's head so much, it will not get through the aircraft cabin door on his next trip down to Expo - how else to stop this outrageous migration of modelling trophies up north over the years?

EPIC modelling projects deserve EPIC praise in my book.

I will though now curb my enthusiasm for this project to a more appropriate (grown up) level - well, I'll have to guesstimate this not actually being grown up!

Something along these lines perhaps? (of course expecting MUCH higher quality from you ;)

Well, it definitely helps if it takes you a month to squeeze out the hours of an average work week! I think sometimes Eric takes for granted just how much free time he has, and coupled with the ability to buy whatever he needs, whenever he needs it, gives him a definite advantage over us mere mortals. I reckon if I had all that time, money and stuff, I could be almost half as good as he is.

Guys we are delving into areas that should not be in these pages, there are few enough members as it is without risking a ruckus. Eric is a damn fine modeller that is all that needs be said.

I don't mind a bit of a ribbing Wal, the boys know I give it back just as much.

I will be putting the build on these very pages as soon as I start it, and I believe that nobody else has done an online build of this particular model so far. Will maybe attract a few folks across to the site as there seems to be alot of interest in the model.

Fortunately for my site Wal, all the lads here seem to take things the way they are intended. Things generally don't seem to blow up the way they can on other sites, and for that I am most grateful. I think this understanding is as a direct result of our small A/CAM group.
Adam, Andrew, and myself are always vigilant though, and we will intervene if there is potential for offence, misunderstanding, or conflict.

Eric knows I was just ribbing him. I like to keep him honest so that his head still fits in my car the next time he needs to be picked up from the airport.
