Due to some issues I am having posting here, I'm just going to add the link for you to look at on AMI.

Very cool Andrew!

Did you convert your recently built Lanc to wheels up?

What issues are you having posting - uploading pic's from Photobucket?

Cheers

You are becoming the "George" expert Andrew.....she is bloody beautiful!!!
Glad the stand went to a good home.
TOR
PS:@ Ray.S.....that's the largest Matchbox stand Andrew/I could find. I don't think Matchbox made a larger stand.

I always thought the larger Matchbox kits came with 2 stands - 1 large, and 1 small..
Pretending to do it TAC style with the big boys since 1987
Also, we don't need no steenkin' VLATs!

These are the only two sizes of Matchbox stand that I am aware of and Andrew's "George" is sitting on the larger one

Yeah, that's what I mean...I thought the bigger kits came with one of each, the idea being the smaller one supported the tail.

Hi Adam and cheers. No, this is a Matchbox kit whereas the Lanc at Expo was the new Airfix kit. Without sounding rude, if you read the AMI post this was basically a trial run for a later build 1/48 'George' I intend to do. In regards to Photobucket everything works as it should until I hit 'Submit' on ACAM then my computer goes nuts and as you saw posted eighteen posts of my Luftwaffe rocket builds. Even when I went into each and hit delete the site crashed on me.

In relation to the stands guys I reckon there was a bigger stand for 1/48 which would've been about 12-15cm high. Anyway, I can't be picky, I'm just glad someone (TOR) was able to help me out with a stand. I have just received two small Airfix stands which I will be using for a couple of small 1/72 Airfix commission builds.

Andrew, if ya need any more Airfix stands just yell out.
As to the photobucket issue.....give it another try and see what happens. When I posted the photos of the Matchbox stands on this thread I had no problems at all.
TOR
PS: if there is a larger version of the Matchbox stand, I would love to get my hands on one or two of em, cause I think the Matchbox stands were the most well-engineered of all kit-supplied stands.
