G'day Adam and Paul. I was able to get some good detail shots of both the stearman and the T-28B that were at Maitland over the weekend. I'll upload them to my computer tomorrow and post them tomorrow evening.

Regards,
RHB.

Incredible work there Barney! Gotta love a Christen Eagle!

I sent you a PM awhile ago when you first arrived about Airshow Models - did you get it? At least these amazing kits are once again available at Fisher Models - phew! I still have to build a S-2C and the early Extra 300L (mid-wing).
I have started the Jim Leroy Bulldog. I want to finish it as a tribute to all air show pilots who have paid the ultimate price performing their art. Personally, I think the price is just too high.

So glad you found our site. Please post more of your work.

All the best

Adam

G'day Barney. It's good to see you over here. Those Christen Eagles look great mate. Please share some of you beautiful models with us. I'm sure Adam the Akrodude will really appreciate them. I know I will.

Hi Adam: I got your PM but for whatever reason this site would not allow me to respond to it, or post on any topic. Here is a pic of my Fleet 80 Canuck, a model of the 1:1 scale aircraft that I first flew 02 July 1952 and soloed 6 days later.

And here is a pic of my current aircraft, a Grumman AA1A with full electrics and sound. It and the Fleet are both 1/32 scale and totally scratchbuilt. And yes that is an exact replica of the Vancouver Terminal Area chart on the glare shiels.

Fantastic models Barney. And to think you scratch built them. You have great modelling skills there which make mine pale into insignificance.

RHB.

Wow Barney - your models are excellent!

So cool you've built your first aeroplane and your current. Please post some pic's of any cool aeroplanes up your way - we'd love to see 'em!

Now if only I had the skills to scratch build a Laser! :(

Cheers

I bought this one in 1954 but what you see is a photo-shopped 1:32 scale Matchbox kit with a 1:1 scale Me. For a real Time Killer see http://www.barneysairforce.com
