Mosquito CF-FZG

This is the next one to be done in TSV. I'll paint a few things before I go so I can use my airbrush. This is the beasty that I'm doing though mine will be more of a cream colour as called for in the instructions. I reckon this is too yellow

And this is what turned up today from BNA :)

After this one is done, I'll be doing this

Very nice indeed! I can't ever recall seeing a locally made civvie Mozzie.

Good luck!

Cheers

Unfortunately there's not any very accurate conversions out there to build this. They all have their own issues. Though I reckon you could do a reasonable job from this Airfix 1/48 Mosquito PR XVI but I think you'd still need a bulged bomb bay as well

Hear what you are saying about the colour, although Paul I must say that the brighter yellow is visually very striking.

Update time. I've got cracking on this now I'm in TSV. Typical Tamiya kit with no dramas so far. The cockpit is almost complete with my usual seatbelts supplied by Red Roo. Would've been more so had I not had a cunning plan and decided to plumb the instrument panel. WTF was I thinking? Anyways we'll see how it turns out :)

Update time. Didn't get too much done today. Finished off the cockpit, closed up the fuse and got the wings together. At this rate it'll be ready for primer by the endoff the week. Unfortunately I don't have any masks so it might have to wait till I get home. On to the pics :)
