Knew you'd like it Paul!
Almost there - have to do the "CASTROL" on the fuselage and canopy rail, the racing numbers, the fin registration, and the pinstriping. Thinking the pinstriping would be better with a thin white/black/white or white/red/white (for the wingtips) instead of including the band.

....and the *almost* finished product. All that's left is to print a proof and check the sizes against the model. I've deliberately lengthened the pinstriping to make it easier to apply...you can cut off the excess to suit..

Which kit will the 1/48 version suit, Hasegawa or Tamiya?

They'll be sized against the Tamiya kit for 1/48, and Hasegawa for 1/32. As long as the fuselage lengths are pretty close, shouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately I haven't been able to source an old Revell kit for the 1/72 set....had to make to with the Airfix..

Sweet. You're better off sizing for the 1/72 Airfix kit anyways mate. It's THE kit in 1/72 :)
