Free to a good home

Postby tor lives » Sun Jun 28, 2015 12:27 pm

Hi guys,
A mate of mine just gave me these built models, but unfortunately I really do not have the room for them.
They come from a deceased estate and, while certainly not competition standard, most of em are of reasonable "3 footer" or "hang from the man-cave or kid's bedroom roof" display standard. I would love for them to go to a good home, (free of charge). They could be displayed as is, or be the subject of a refurb project. In a worst case scenario they could be parts donors for other projects or lost parts.

(could be converted back to a standard 707)

She is missing a few bits including the fin-tip HF "stinger", and one of the nose gear wheels. Nothing that couldn't be sourced from the "spare parts" bin though. She is built with main deck cargo door and crew access door open.

1:72 manufacturer unknown Grumman E-2

She is the "worst" of the bunch being hand-painted, (brush strokes visible), with flacking decals and internal weights rattling around on the inside. She is a prime candidate for a major refurb project. I was thinking of converting her to a WIF civil fire bomber, (sans radar of course), but I have got way to much on the go already.
Yell out if ya want em........first in first served. Melbourne area pick-up only.
Regards

Sent you two PMs in quick succession Les. I have received your two as well, so it appears that the "system" is working again.
