Forgot to post these last month when on a quick trip to Brisvegas to see the Boy off overseas I purchased them from a "Pop-Up" Book Kiosk in the City :

and then later on we went to a Coffee Shop diagonally opposite the Gabba (only went to that as our favourite Burger Joint "Purple Gorilla" had closed down) to wait for our Daughter and had this for company :

(and No the Coffee Shop wasn't called "Brown Grizzly Bear"!)

Got these. The 350 was reasonable at $20 and shipping but the ICM Il-62 was a steal at $16 with free shipping. Ol' boy damn near gave it away and I actually feel a little bad about it. The shippined was $10.10 so that means I got that kit for $5.90 and after eBay's little cut he didn't make much. I have two Zvesda Il-62s already but at that price I wasn't going to pass it up.

Cue "Mission Impossible" music (the Original not the Tom Cruise rubbish) :

"Your Mission Mr Phelps is to obtain another A350-900 and proceed to make an A350-1000 out of the two. You must describe everything in detail on a Build Thread clearly outlining any issues you encounter and how you resolved them so that any Dummy can follow what you did and successfully do the same like that idiot Greg is trying to do (and failing miserably) by copying Viking's Airfix 737-200 Build Thread.

Should you fail or get captured by the Rivet Counting Brigade in the process we will be awfully bloody disappointed and have to convince Uros to have a go at it.

This message will stay here because this is the Internet not an explosive device."

End "Mission Impossible" music and return to normal programming ...

  That would be fun. But, I'd have to have TWO more so I can build one regular then build the 1000. I won't be holding my breath...

My strategy is to poke around so slow that by time I would consider building one, someone will have put out a proper 1000.

Also waiting for a 777-900. I have the glorious 777-300ER kit to hold me over for now.

Two more of the former boxing on the way from a different Seller (so a -1000 might be on the cards in the imaginary future).

Haven't worked out how much they will be landed yet but if they do arrive the both may not be much more than what it was for one of these! Otherwise if they don't arrive yes Virginia it was too good to be true!

EDIT : Have now. $ 54.67 for both landed. Too good to be true?

Both landed today so it wasn't too good to be true. So $27.335 for each. Unbelievable!

That would be ideal! Buying multiples at a great price is always fun stuff. Doesn't happen all the time.

More goodies from over the last few days. Brock got given a whole heap of kits, some of which I taxed that he won't build.

Picked up another of these and the decals are really good unlike my other one

Stoked to score another of these for a good price (making 3 now 8-) ) so now I can do an Argy Navy one

Got this from the Spruefinders garage sale today. It will be a VX-4 F-4J

Another from Mark @ Spruefinders and it will be yet another aggressor
