Last weekend dad and I went off to the Southern Model Club show down at the Pine st Church Hall in Cheltenham, just behind Southlands Shopping center. Was a pretty good weekend, caught up with many people, the BBQ was cooking and the swap and sell was busy. There was at least 10 traders, many kits walked out the door and just under 100 models were entered into the competition. I managed to pick up a bit of timber for the weekend; 1st and 3rd in Large Scale, 2nd in Small Scale, 1st in Rotary Wing and the Special Awards; Pacific Wings and Cold War.
A great weekend, hope to see some of you there next year!
