RAAF UH-1H

A place for our military aviation modellers to show their stuff. It may not be civil but it still has a home here

This is the Hasegawa kit with a scratch built interior ( not that you see much of it). The Hasegawa kit is very average when it come to detail. You don't even get collectives and control columns. Had issues with the clear parts but need to live with it

Resin and decals from Hawkeye, sorry about the average pictures.

I might have flown in that Huey many moons ago..
Looks great! Where did you get the floats from?
Pretending to do it TAC style with the big boys since 1987
Also, we don't need no steenkin' VLATs!

Nicely done Ray. I recall seeing one at Sale in 1984 on floats. The SAS were doing oil rig Ops with Hueys and Wessexs. Got to go for a flying both....the Huey being far more impressive than the Wessex :D

Nice one Ray!!!.....love the Huey.
I always enjoyed waking up to the "wokka wokka" sounds of the ol Huey when I was growing up, (living next to RAAF Base Amberley), and again when I lived on base at RAAF Base Fairbairn when a member of 34SQN.
