I guess I'd just keep building it then, that's my vote.

It took me a bit, flicking between the two pics, but I found it, once I looked at the right pylon. I say sculpt the extension out of clay. Make mould and cast two in resin. You can do it. I know you can.

Open a bottle of red, empty it, look at the problem again with a different set of eyes, open another bottle of red and finish it as well, you don't want it to go off.
If need be, ask me to drop around and help you open another few bottles of red and we will see if we can find the model amongst the empties, if not, then we can start
on the rest of the reds and progress to your collection of whites, problem fixed as neither of us would be able to see the fecker let alone be able to stand up.

Cheers.

The Kids of today would tell you to photoshop the historical photo to look like the model (so you don't have to do anything to the model) and post it on the net until it becomes "the' reference photo.

Thanks for all your suggestions Gents. The correct answer is, of course, A. 'Problem? I don't see any problem.'

Still, since we are all serious modellers around here, and you will all now know where to look when I've completed my -138s, I'm going to have to go for B with a touch of the one involving red.

Don't hold your breath though, I feel some more procrastination coming on. Just got to figure out which of the suggested options is the easiest or best, or perhaps both.
