For about a year I have been trying to login without success and gave up until I installed Windows 10 . Let's see if this post actually works

Hi Adam: Mot been up to very much other than lurking at various sires. Unfortunately my modelling has been harshly curtailed to to arthritis and now diminishing vision due to the side effects of one of the medications prescribed for the arthritis.

My 1:48 scale Stearman still sits on the desk gathering dust as is the 1:32 scale Pitts S2S..Jimmy LeRoy's Bulldog.

I've had a great run at this hobby dating over 70 years..no typo! Everything from "stick and tissue" rubber powered, carved solid wood , free flight gas, radio controlled and of course plastic. This last dating back to 1954 when kits were "box scale".

Great people and a great hobby
Regards from the We(s)t Coast of Canasa

Hey Barney

I'm sorry to hear about your medical conditions effecting your modelling. Your builds have provided great inspiration and are a delight to behold. Hope you are able to plug away at your current builds - even at a much reduced rate. As a senior gentleman modeller, hopefully your skills and knowledge can be passed on in a mentoring way - critique and advice for modellers? I've started my Jim Leroy S2S. It has been gathering dust as well, as I've just been so busy with the family and business, it's just hard to find time and motivation. Any time I'm able to find a couple of hours on the weekend, I get a knock knock on the shed - "Dad, I need to do this, go there, etc....", or it's the wife badgering me to do something or take the family somewhere - oh the joys! As my ol' boss who was ex-navy used to say to me "Adam, it's your turn in the barrel!". It was years later when I finally understood this joke - bit scary coming from a ex-navy type I tell you!

Hang in there buddy, keep the faith and great that you are back at A/CAM!

Cheers
