You could probably go to 40, but you don't want to squash them in too much. Also, will you have a label that has the aircraft name, builder and scale on it? If so, don't put the text in 12pt font, I remember a display a few years ago with writing on the tags like that and it was unreadable, especially the kits at the back of the table.
I'll be offering Ray my 1/72 Zlin-242 (tiny), 1/48 Zlin-50M (a bit bigger) and 1/32 Pitts Special S-2B (a little bigger again) for display. These won't take up much ramp space. Hoping to have finished my 1/32 RB-51, but must get a crack on with that!

Display and Competition Tables - 1790 x 790 x 760 (a few are 740 high)
Traders Tables - 2100 x 900 x 750
G,day Ed , the model expo team are supplying A/CAM with two tables for our club display , can you confirm what size they may be please. The reason I ask ,is because we have to make up a couple of display stands .
Display and comp tables are 2.1 meters long Knotty, the 1.7m ones are used for the traders. Expo guidelines give displays a maximum of 4.2 meters frontage with an additional two tables that can be placed behind the front two if required.
