Finally got inside a Concorde - wow, they are small inside and those miniscule windows! This I was advised by one of the "minders" is the first pre-production Concorde and was full of test instrumentation, so actually of more interest to me being a "instrument guy'", than say one of the "line" birds. This bird was used for icing trials apparently - quite possibly a few other tasks as well if I'd had the time to read up on its role in the test program. It must have been amazing to be involved in the Concorde program. Still vividly remember seeing one fly overhead on its way to Tulla during it's first trip to Australia in 1972. I was walking home from school at the time and thought it was so cool!

Very difficult to take pic's of Concorde in it's entirety as it's so big. This British hangar is pretty crowded.
