Whizzed over to Whyalla last week for work - on the tools at the steel mill again.

On the way back I was transported in a goofy lookin' Rex SAAB I thought worthy of posting due to it's garish paint scheme. I asked the FA what the story is and apparently Rex had two SAAB 340's on charter in Thailand for awhile and they still retain the Thai paint scheme - inspired by ducks or something apparently! The other is in shades of blue.

G,day Adam , I think these were leased to Nork Air or something like that . They normally have a smiley face painted on them . I don't think they repaint them until they go to Wagga for a heavy check . I'll ask my mate at Rex .

Yes sure looks like Nok Air, thank goodness they got rid of the goofy looking mouth
