Yesterday I went flew to Bendigo as part of my CPL training...the scenario was takeoff from Moorabbin, climb to 9500', spend about 10 minutes over the CBD for aerial photography, then track to Bendigo for a landing. The next leg was to be to Mt Buller for more photography - my instructor has yet to see snow - and back to Moorabbin. Didn't get to Mt Buller in the end, as we were running out of time - the winds were against us - so we tracked to Kilmore, then back to Moorabbin.
We followed one of my colleagues out to the runway..
