Postcard from Yeovilton
Posted: Mon Jul 28, 2014 12:48 am2 days of sunny weather, was there for the Friday "Photocall" and most of the Saturday Airday airshow (left early to beat the traffic)
Photo conditions were very difficult, the sun being very inconveniently placed and for the most part (except for the helicopters) the flying was too high and wide, there was a time my big lens was more than ample.. these days not so much .. I guess it's the safety thing. Some of the displays by small piston aircraft were almost a waste of time neck craning in the sun is not for me.
I took thousands of shots, one or two are ok.. going gradually through them cropping enhancing deleting I am only part way done here is a sampler click on any to go to Flicker..will upload more in the next few days
