Some taildraggers in the Hunter Region.

Here are some taildraggers I've shot in the Hunter at various airfiels. First up a Corby Starlet at Maitland.

Next is VH-RNI (A17-111) also at Maitland. This Tiger belongs to the Royal Newcastle Aero Club. At this moment she's in the hangar in pieces undergoing a very major overhaul.

Now a Maule Rocket, also at Maitland.

Last is a Vans RV-7 taildragger.

Brilliant photos once again there! I knew a guy with a Corby Starlet - what little pocket rockets! His was powered by a Volksie engine. This guy was pretty big too - an abalone diver and super strong. It did look a bit comic seeing him sit in his tiny Corby - like some cartoon character all out of proportion. They are supposed to be lovely to fly too.

Well, what more can be said about Maules other than repeating that they are awesome beasts of the air!
