Steen Skybolt for Adam the Akrodude.

This beautiful Steen Skybolt was at Festival of Flight 2008 at Watts Bridge. The owner told me that it was designed by an American school teacher who wanted to learn aerobatic flying but was too big to fit in a Pitts so he designed his own aero plane. It is somewhat bigger than a Pitts and doesn't have the same throw - about - ability as a Pitts but it's good for easy flying and aeros.

What an absolutely lovely aeroplane! I've heard that they are a delight to fly - not as hard core as a Pitts, a little more benign in landing. I'd love one!
