Sobering video of the ATR crash in Taiwan. Won't post if here as it may be distressing for some. Be interesting as to the cause once the report comes out.

Yes really amazing what is captured by dash cams these days, the Taxi was really lucky.
Looking at the video, it appears to stall and drop a wing

The driver of the taxi is in serious condition with a head wound, so I don't know how lucky, but I guess he is still alive.

Just rode back in a ATR from PNG. First time pax'ing in one.
One of my work counterparts in Taiwan travels over that very bridge every day taking his wife to work and lives and works nearby - within 5 minutes drive. There are some large apartment blocks near that ATR had to pass over prior to impact. Saw on the news it appears the crew shut down the wrong engine - anyone else hear any more? Extremely lucky anyone survived. Does appear to depart controlled flight prior to impact - left wing drop.
Thoughts certainly go out to the families involved.

Yeah , wrong engine shut down . There was a check captain in the cockpit also apparently.
Poor buggers .
