Avalon = aerosexual heaven in the Southern Hemisphere! You bet I will be there and very much looking forward to the WW1 contingent from NZ. To see the F-22 do it's thing again will also be a major treat.

What more can we say about those whingers that just don't get it Ray - earth bound mortals!

I'm thinking probably the Friday and one day on the public days will do me. We should try to get a A/CAM contingent together.

Cheers

Adam

I've never been. I've always been at the other end, dispatching planes that fly in for the day from home base.

Got word that one time British aerobatic champion Mark Jefferies will be displaying a Extra 330SC at Avalon. Mark is a very talented pilot, so it will be great to finally see him perform. Mark is infamous for once being intercepted by two Su-27's when ferrying a L-29 from Russia. He was made to land at a Russian airbase and had to stay in custody for a couple of days. Can't imagine the feeling of shock and awe one would have seeing a couple of big Suk's form up on each wing tip!

Here's Mark doing his stuff in a Extra 330SC.

Jurgis Kairys will also be displaying his incredible aerobatic prowess as well.

Throw in a F-22, all that WW1 stuff coming from NZ and I will be a pretty happy chap! :D

F-22 isn't flying, just static.
