Well, not really a direct copy, more a lookalike
The cockpit is very different, fuselage doesn't have the double bubble, engine pylons are way different
It's probably more like a 707, than say an IL62 is a VC10 copy, or a Tu144 is a Concorde copy, (although the Tu144 did fly first)
