Found this right along side your 787 link - pretty aggressive performance for a airliner. Nice sales pitch by the Boeing guy "one of the Boeing philosophies is about how the pilot needs to always have full control over the aeroplane"! Air shows like Farnborough must be shirt sleeves rolled up, knuckle dusting time!

The touch and go reminds me of the F-111 displays when they would bank hard once airborne.

And I read the Farnborough powers that be have told Boeing not to do that maneuver anymore! Booooo.
