Postby Adam the Akrodude » Mon Jun 23, 2014 11:30 am

I need help identifying this airliner - anyone? Is this document essential reading amongst male (in particular I guess) airliner aircrews?

This of course would be impossible to do in Australia. Being a elevated photo shoot above 2 metres off the ground, there would need to be a suitable and approved scaffold/platform c/w hand rails and all the safety permits and documentation that goes with this. The model would also need to be wearing the appropriate PPE/safety harness attached to the scaffold/platform.

I'd have to say looking at it would be a 727.

I have tried googling it :( but no joy ATM.

Hi Adam,

Second thoughts it could be an earlier build 737 NG, with the eyebrow windows. The radome is definitely is a Boeing bird, as Airbus radomes are more rounded
But looking at the photo, the playboy logo could have been photoshopped onto it. ... Just a thought

It's defiantly a narrow-body Boeing.....it is just a question of weather it is a 707, 720, 727, or 737.
The law-of-averages would suggest a 737.

Some more reference material I've found on this topic.

Gotta admit, this is a pretty cool way to fly! Pretty different from say flying scumbag class to Bali!

Long gone Ace - ah, the memories!

Ya gotta respect a guy who built up a enormous empire, had his own DC-9 and all achieved basically in his PJ's!
