One day the crew of a Dash 8 was told by the tower to hold short of the active runway while a 767 landed.
The 767 landed, rolled out, turned around, and taxied back past the Dash 8 .
Some quick-witted comedian from the 767 crew got on the radio and said, "What a cute little aeroplane. Did you make it all by yourself?"
The Dash 8 pilot, not about to let the 767 driver get away with such a comment, came back with a real zinger: "I made it out of 767 parts. Another landing like yours and I'll have enough parts for another one."

Those poor Dash 8 pilots get looked down upon by those big jet pilots a lot don't they! Lucky they make up for it by being able to chuck together a decent model hey?

Why is that Eric?... Have I missed something? If I recall, your the one with the wilted shiny jet syndrome.. Did you miss out on an interview with Virgin, QF, Tiger, Jetstar?...You'd never catch me looking down on a turboprop crew.. Cuppla thousand hours on them.. I still recall where I came from.

I'll have to re evaluate.. I didn't think that making a decent model was a guaranteed road to success in life.. I must be in the wrong job... ... Then again, maybe I'm just not attention seeking enough?

Understood, but I would ask that these issues be dealt with off thread.
I do not want A/CAM becoming just another site for biffo...... that is the quickest way for a vibrant, positive little site like ours to loose the support of members and sponsors.
