Can't keep a good Dak down

Hi folks,
A couple of us kicked this around on FB this morning.
It's a great little tale of the recovery of a "stacked Dak" from her icy tomb.

What a massive job ,in what must of been terrible conditions at times . I wonder what the time frame for the repair was . ;)

I have to say.....they are a pretty impressive bunch in this case. Good thing it was a durable and tough ol bird like a DC-3.... and not a friggen Airbus 8-) 8-)

Although how they didn't manage to rip the bottom out of the poor, ol Goose "taxiing" it on it's belly across the ice is beyond me :shock: .
