LM flight testing a laser turret. LM have touted all along that the F-35 could field a laser in the future as its engine generator is so powerful. It would just be a matter of trying to shoe horn it into the airframe if this is possible. If not, this technology will appear in UAV's or perhaps AC-130's - amazing stuff!
